Checking Orders: When you pick-up your order, we kindly ask that you double check it to ensure all of the treats you ordered are in the bag. Please note that once you leave our property, we are not responsible if an item is incorrect and/or missing.
Cake Pick Ups: When picking up your cake, our staff will offer to show you the cake before sealing the box. Please use this opportunity to double check that the cake and custom message are accurate and what you ordered. Care instructions are provided on the box. Once you leave our property we are not responsible for cakes that are damaged or melted during transit.
Delivery by Hype Team (Ordered from this website): Limited delivery spots are available in the Toronto area. Please note that delivery orders will arrive anytime within your window as shown on your confirmation e-mail. We cannot guarantee a specific delivery time. We also offer express deliveries through SkipTheDishes and UberEats (SEE LINKS BELOW).

Order Changes: We will do our best to accommodate any changes or adjustments to orders in advance of your pickup or delivery date. Please respond to your confirmation email with your change request.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations by 12:00pm four (4) calendar days before your scheduled pickup or delivery will be given a refund minus the payment processing fees, or a full credit towards your next purchase. Refunds past the 4-day notice are not possible.
Allergens: Hype Food Co. is a dedicated facility that is free from gluten and priority allergens. All of our food items do NOT contain gluten, peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, eggs, wheat, sesame, soy, fish and shellfish. We mix our own gluten-free flour blend that is completely free from tree nuts.
We take food allergies very seriously and strive to maintain an allergy-aware bakery through our ingredients and processes. We take the following precautions:
- All staff are trained extensively about food allergies, cross-contamination, safe food handling and allergen management.
- Outside food is not permitted onto the premises, both in our kitchens and in the retail areas.
- We only use products from reputable brands and obtain allergen statements from our suppliers. We do not use any products that “may contain” allergens, and when allergens are present in a facility we ensure that strict cleaning and allergen-management protocols are in place.
- We only accept completely sealed ingredients (no opened bags, boxes or cartons) from our suppliers to minimize the possibility of cross-contamination.
Legume, Coconut and Seed Allergies: Hype Food Co. does not use any form of legumes, coconut or pea protein in our baked goods. Our carrot muffins contain hemp seeds.
While we do prepare beans (black beans, chick peas, navy beans, kidney beans), seeds (hemp, sunflower, flax, chia) and coconut in our facility, our staff follows a very strict protocol when handling legumes, seeds and coconut in order to minimize cross-contamination risks: all items with seeds, coconut and legumes are prepared in a separate work space from other baked goods and are always kept at the bottom of the baking rack. Surfaces are washed and sanitized regularly, and gloves are changed between recipes. When these ingredients are present our baked goods, we always make sure to include it in the name of item to avoid any confusion (examples: Carrot & Hemp seed muffin).
Other Allergies: Hype Food Co. is fully transparent with all ingredient lists. We consider all food ingredients as allergens, and have strict practices in place to minimize cross-contamination of all ingredients.
